FED watch

The FED Watch is a forum for writing short articles or simply making postings in reaction to what is happening in the world today. Its aim is to monitor anti-federalist and egoistic state behaviour just like the Human Rights Watch is monitoring violations of human rights. Furthermore it explores what kind of issues in European and world politics are relevant to federalism and also in what is our critique of these issues. Have your say in the FED watch today!

  • December 2008 – Happy Birthday Eurobarometer !

Speakers like Margot Wallström, Jean Pierre Jouyet, Claes de Vreese, Enrique Baron Crespo, Jacques Santer, had intensive exchanges on the Friday and on the Saturday the “youth” had the chance to “take the floor”. I had the opportunity to represent JEF in these exchanges with some students from sciences-po and also other speakers. It was a very nice exchange of views and the opportunity to speak about what youth expects from the EU. I introduced the JEF manifesto which got a positive welcome and we also talked a lot about the programme Europe at school and the necessity to better inform and teach young people about European issues. You can find more information about the programme of the conference and soon its results on the => webpage <=.
